In this project I started learning how to insert a model built in blender into a real life photo as an introduction into Visual Effects in blender.

For this scene I used an F-22 model and inserted it into this photo:

Using Blender materials and lighting that imitates a sun the following image was produced.

Note how the shadow of the plane seemingly fits.
